"Overall, everything was good, the washer/dryer was a great bonus! I thought the Unit was waterfront, but you can't even see the beach or the sunset from the location, I was disappointed by that. "Ok, long review alert, but if you're anything like me, you may find this helpful...
Oh my word! I LOVED this little condo! It's convenient for ALL your needs.
First thing we noticed was the smell of Lysol when we walked in, which made us feel much safer in the middle of this COVID pandemic. This condo IS definitely just a short walk to the beach (which is what caught my eyes when booking it and I loved this)!
It is so cozy and is decorated so cute. The sofas are comfortable and there are a couple of TV's (one in the living room and one in the bedroom) and being able to watch Netflix at night with my kids was a plus. The bed looks smaller in pictures, but it's BIG and SO comfy. I didn't want to wake up in the mornings. LOL There were also plenty of bathroom towels and pillows. There is a washer and dryer in the bedroom (just bring some laundry detergent and bleach, if you feel you need it). There are plenty of hangers and an iron. The pool is right behind the condo, directly across from the patio and it is a seasonal heated pool. I loved this at night, since the water was nice and warm and there were plenty of pool chairs. There are also grills around the pool and plenty of seating to eat (You will just need some charcoal and maybe charcoal fluid).
Like I previously stated, the beach is just a short walk away and there are even showers and water hoses all around to wash off the sand. I loved that the condo was on a ground floor, so no elevators needed and very easy to unpack your belongings or groceries. This also made it easier to drive our beach wagon. The kitchen is fully stocked with all you need to cook. There are plenty of plates, cups, bowls, silverware and pots and pans. Just take whatever you need to season your foods and you're good to go. Panama Beach Time was kind enough to provide us with 2 dishwasher pads and a couple of garbage bags. So, if you need anymore, there are a few gas stations really close by where you can get some basic essentials or just drive down to the nearest Walmart. There is even a broom and a mop, if you feel the need to clean the sand off the floors after coming from the beach (If you're a clean freak like me, you will find this helpful). There are plenty of fun things to do close by like, arcade, go karting and mini golf, etc...there are also a few good restaurants around. This is a much quieter part of PCB and my family and I really loved this. The staff is very respectful, and answers very quickly. We only contacted them regarding the pool on the 1st day and they responded quickly, letting us know that the pool was being treated. There was no other reason to contact them during the rest of our trip. No hassle to check-in, just remember your door code (which they will provide when cleaners are done with the condo). One of the best things for me was that check in said it would be at 3pm, but the condo was available for us a little past noon. This was a PLUS for my family after driving 7 hrs, because who wants to wait to go to the beach? LOL (I really appreciated this)! Thanks! We'll be booking this condo again in the future! "The condo was perfect for our needs this year. We were vacationing with our young grandsons only 7 weeks after total knee replacement. The ground floor condo, next to the pool, with a short walk to the beach was wonderful. The other tenants were friendly, which made being poolside enjoyable. "We enjoyed our stay in this nice pool level one bedroom condo. We are a family of 4 with 2 kids. Having the pool right next to the patio was great! A very short walk to the beach which was also great. The water at the beach is shallow for a long stretch and that made us less worried about the rip current and absence of lifeguards. The complex has coal grills in several locations. The bedroom has a washer and dryer: remember to take detergent with you if you will be using them. Same for the dishwasher, the staff kindly provided 2 dishwasher pods and if you think you will use more, get some with you.
