This unit was gutted and completely renovated, with brand new everything -- walls, paint, plumbing and electric systems, flat screen TVS, a custom walk-in shower, and a totally updated kitchen. The property was updated in April 2021 with new furniturre and a new beachy paint job. This beautiful condo sleeps 6 ,with a Queen bed in each bedroom and a sleeper sofa in the living room, and is the front half of Windsong Duplex. This dog-friendly two bedroom, one bath has been gutted and completely renovated in 2018. The unit has no steps to enter or steps inside, though there are steps to use the deck. Private, covered patio table and chairs, and girlling area and private, fenced back yard for your dog. Parking for up to two cars in the driveway -- though you'd have to block in one car to park two.

"The pictures are accurate, and you are just steps to beach access. You are provided a couple rolls of toilet paper and a roll of paper towels and two dish tabs to get you started. Make sure to bring your own laundry detergent. I was a little worried that the place may smell like dogs or have dog hair everywhere, but that wasn’t the case at all. It was clean and smelled good. The sheets and mattress weren’t the most comfortable, but that’s probably to be expected for a short term rental house. Since it is a duplex, you do share the parking area and the deck with other renters. It wasn’t an issue for us though. It was only 10 minutes from Saint Andrews State Park, and it was close to great food options. We would stay here again."--Hannah, July 2023

"Location was great. The place itself was slightly larger than it looked in the pictures and very nice inside. The kitchen was nice, but you’ll need to bring everything you need with you (ex. There were only 2 small cups). Bathroom was very nice and looked newly remodeled. Bedrooms were exactly as pictured, but in need of new mattresses. I completely sunk in when laid down. The deck is very nice and there is a gas grill available. We had a problem with the AC not cooling which I reported along with the ice and drinking water not working, and the coffee maker being broken. "Wind Song: This ground level two bedroom behaved pet friendly duplex is a real hidden gem conveniently located to everything, but still far enough away from the crowded massive condo and hotel towers about 10-15 minutes down the road. I heard people in the towers can wait up to 30 minutes for an elevator in June, so glad we didn’t stay there. The neighborhood beach access, way less people than the condo areas, is just adjacent to the house across the street. It is a two minute walk before you sink your toes into the white sand and swim in the crystal clear blue green waters. We found everyone on the beach, mainly tourists, were friendly. There are amazing ocean views from the detached outside duplex’s shared multilevel deck with a hammock. We found the stacked washer and dryer in the kitchen to be a real lifesaver while playing in youth World Series summer baseball tournaments all week. I love that this location has access to the main beach front road, but also there is a separate driving back route across the bridge to the ball parks and quiet neighborhood grocery stores. We often went to Jesse’s place for breakfast. Huge refrigerator and lots of cooking supplies (pans, baking dishes, utensils, knives, mixing bowls, etc) provided in unit. One bathroom for the two bedrooms and a nice size living and dining area. As of now, Panama City Beach does NOT allow dogs on the beach anywhere at all except for a dog beach park near the pier (drive there). Instead we dropped off our dog at Mimi’s house dog day care place a few times during the week (vaccination records required in advance of pet stay) when we spent hours and hours at the beach or youth sports/ball park. This unit is at the front of the duplex and the second separated rented unit is at the back of the duplex. We didn’t hear our neighbors much at all. Duplex does not have access to a pool. The house had everything needed minus Beach Supplies and Dish/Laundry Soap. The Kitchen was short on glassware but had Everything Needed. There was even an Electric Blender, Can opener and Crockpot. Plenty of dishes, pots, pans, and all necessary Cooking/Grilling Utensils. Newer Grill that worked well. The back yard is Tiny with a Sandy Entry but does the trick for Your Buddy! ) I was Ok with the soft beds. Sand In the House is a Pain as I read and so Glad I brought my cordless vacuum.

Beach access is right across the street 30 seconds if you walk fast, and your feet are in the sand! The deck is great I went up there every morning watched the sun rise, then walked over to the beach while it was empty. The staffs communications were great for booking and check in, that’s all we needed them for bc you’ll need nothing else as it’s all laid out for you! 🤩 The couch has a pull out bed too that was actually pretty comfortable! The location was great for having our 1 and 2 year olds with us they didn’t last long at the beach so we took turns taking them back to the house when they were done. Also boat rentals, jet skies, parasailing, piers, good food and lots of other attractions are all a short distance (no more than a 15 minute commute) from the house as we did all these things. "We loved our stay at Windsong. We got to bring our two pups for their first beach trip (reasonably close dog park, Ed Helms; Scotty’s boat rentals; Pier Park dog beach), and they loved it too! The kitchen and bathroom were tastefully finished and with adequate linens, and we loved having the washer/dryer for wet towels. We didn’t use the sleeper couch (our fifth person laid sheets on the couch itself), so I can’t say how the sofa bed was, but linens were provided. The third floor deck has views of amazing sunsets, as well as the ocean. The beach itself had some other people, but wasn’t overcrowded. "Steps from the beach, short drive to stores and restaurants. The stackable washer and dryer was a pleasant surprise! Take some dishwasher and laundry pods and you're set! Kitchen is well stocked with plenty of plates, pots, pans, cups, tupper-ware, etc. They provide a couple hotel-sized soap and shampoos and a roll of tp to get you started. Being nestled into a little residential area, the beach is much quieter than further down in either direction. "This house location is very interesting, just a few steps from the beach, 5 minutes from a supermarket/drugstore and 20 minutes from Pier Park (make sure you check it out). It has it all, wifi, comfy beds, TV, lots of things in the kitchen, laptop desk, grill, tables outside, an outdoor shower to clean everything before getting into the house. It's a little outdated, but that's not a problem for us. The deck view is beautiful during the sunset. We felt safe and comfortable at all times and we're already planning on coming back soon. "Excellent choice for our annual family vacation to Panama City Beach! The staff was quick with a response to our booking request and was accommodating to both our request for a stay under the normal minimum night limit as well as early check-in. The room was just as described and felt very 'homey' and inviting. It was just across an access point to the beach and the included two story deck gave a beautiful view of the waves, not to mention included a hammock where several relaxing naps were taken. Our dog Sam thoroughly enjoyed the stay as well. My only complaint is that the mattress on the pull-out sofa bed was not very comfortable and should probably be replaced at some point. "My husband and I stayed in this beautiful home with my mom, sister, and puppy. It was absolutely perfect! The space was clean and in a safe area. The double deck was absolutely amazing, one of our favorite parts! We were just a few steps from a public beach access. Unfortunately the beach wasn't dog friendly but that wasn't the owners fault. The owners were staying on the other side of the duplex while renovating, such nice people! Our only downer was the pull out bed was really uncomfortable. Washer/dryer was a huge blessing, just bring your own detergent! Everything was readily available for us: dinnerware, silverware, pots/pans, plenty of linens. We can't say enough wonderful things about this home. It was the perfect location while being close to shops at Pier Park but away from the crazy college kids on spring break. "This beach duplex is a simple but certainly adequate accommodation with one entrance in the front and the other offset toward the back of the house. There is covered parking for 2 cars and I'm not sure but I don't think street parking is allowed. The parking cover is actually a huge stand-alone deck with 2 levels. Each level has a table and chairs --the top level has nice views of the ocean. It is located about 11 miles from Pier Park - which is kind of the tourist "town center" but it's an easy drive and there are numerous small shopping centers located nearby. I like the feel of the type of beach houses I remember from childhood. This one has tile floors, ceiling fans, an adequately supplied kitchen, an excellent location (one house between it and the beach and directly across from the public access path). Although Panama Beach City is not pedestrian or bike friendly, you can walk to a couple of eateries. The lot is small so there's not a lot of patio or outside of the house to enjoy unless you use the decks -- and they are quite nice. The other duplex wasn't rented during our stay so I can't say how being in such a small place with 2 families would change the experience. It's pretty well provisioned - odd omissions like just one coffee filter for the first morning you're there and a small bit of dishwashing liquid. The towels are fluffy and the beds are comfortable enough. The published description is accurate. It is a perfect house for kids to run in and out of to the beach without worry and they allow you to bring your dogs with a non-refundable deposit although I'm not sure dogs are any more work or risk than people, depending on the people. The staff gave us good directions and instructions for late arrival by email. We had phone numbers if we needed them but didn't have any problems. We had a relaxing, easy stay -- basic cable, wifi, pet-friendly, an easy walk to the beach, quiet, nice sunsets on the top deck."--Linda, October 2016

"Enjoyed being in the front half of the duplex. The staff made sure we had entrance prior to arrival since we were arriving in the evening and had an after hours number to reach them at. The covered patio was nice as well as the fenced backyard for the dogs. Literally, across the street from beach access. Duplex had modern amenities and the 3 story deck view is amazing. Had a fantastic stay here. Make sure to bring extra supplies or be ready to hit up the dollar tree during your stay though. Supplied with one large trash bag, 2 rolls of toilet paper, enough dishwasher soap for 2 cycles, and salt and pepper. Don't forget your coffee filters if you drink coffee!! You are literally getting the main things to start your trip which was fine with us as a Dollar Tree and Dollar General are close by. Has pots, pans, glassware, coffee maker, everything of that nature. Will stay here again when in the area! "This house was perfect for what we were looking for in Panama City Beach. It was clean, and well-equipped, and most importantly it was a stone's-throw from the beach! The house itself was nothing fancy, but we knew that when we rented it, and we were just looking for a place that was clean, quiet and close to the beach, and this had all of those features. The place does have an amazing tall deck structure that is built over the house, and it has a gorgeous view of the ocean, and is perfect to have breakfasts or sunset drinks while taking in the view.
